Stan Perry Memorial $10,010! Huge Crowd! Fast Action!

Friday the June 12th! Stan Perry Memorial Race at Angola MotorSpeedway!

What a race at the Angola Speedway! 110 laps of Super Outlaw Late Model racing! Over 32 Late Models showed up for the rain delayed Stan perry Memorial $10,010 to win race. 22 drivers either qualified in or made the race in the last chance race.

The racing action on the 3/8 mile track was intense. Caution at lap 24 had the #1D of John Delarye in the the lead, caution came out for #24 Tyler Roahrig who had a motor expire. John Delarye had issues and started in the back of the field when the green flag came out for lap 25, with the running order being 11 Adam Pierce, 99 Jason Shively and 2 of Mike Kugler. Another caution came out on lap 33 for two cars getting together in turns 3 and 4. Starting line for green flag to start lap 34 was 99 Jason Shively, 2 of Mike Kugler. This caution had also shuffled the #01 of Phil Massuch to the tail. Another caution for debris came out on lap 41 the leaders stayed 99 Jason Shively, 2 Mike Kugler, and 72 of Scott Hantz. Caution again for a slow 10F of Tom Fedwa on lap 60. The leaders again 99, 2, 72. The #01 had moved up to the top 10 however by this time. Several more cautions for spin, and slow cars brings us to lap 97 when the #01 takes the lead FROM THE REAR to the front! The final 13 laps the 01 of Phil Massuch holds on for the win! A fantastic piece of driving against some of the best talent in the midwest!
